| Studied in the school of drawing and painting of Konstantin Yuon and I. Dudin (1906-07), in the studio of K. Kish in Moscow (1909), then from 1912 to 1913 at the Academie de la Palette in Paris under Jean Metzinger and A. Le Fauconnier. Participant in exhibitions from 1914: Knave of Diamonds (1914-17), Leftist Trends (1915), Tramway V (1915), 0.10 (1915-16 ), Shop (1916), World of Art (1921-22), Moscow Painters (1925); Society of Moscow Artists (1928), 13(1931) etc. One-woman show in Leningrad in 1928. Lived in Moscow from 1892. On her return from Paris worked with Liubov Popova and Vladimir Tatlin in the latter's studio, the Tower (1913). In the early 1920s member of the Association of Extreme Innovators in Painting. Member of the All-Russian collegium on the Fine Arts of Narkompros (from 1918) and INKhUK (from 1920) and taught at the Svomas (1918), professor of VKhUTEMAS / VKhUTEIN in Moscow (1921-30). | ||||||
