| Studied in the military school in St. Petersburg (1900-08) and in various workshops (1909-10) including the Academie Julian in Paris. Participant in exhibitions from 1912: Union of Youth (1912-13), Salon des Independents in Paris (1913-14), Knave of Diamonds (1916-17), Four Arts (1928). One of the organisers of the exhibitions Tramway V (1915) and 0.10 (1915-16). Professor at the Petrograd Svomas (1918), taught at the Vitebsk Art School under Marc Chagall in 1919. | ||||||
