PAKULIN, Viacheslav Vladimirovich

Studied at the Stieglitz School in Petrograd under A. Karev and Vladimir Lebedev (1916-17, 1919?, 1920-22), then at the VKhUTEMAS / VKhUTEIN in Petrograd / Leningrad under Karev and A. Savinov (1922-25), as well as attending courses on theatrical production organised by Meierhold in 1918. Participant in exhibitions from 1922: Union of New Tendencies (from 1922), Circle of Artists (founding member and president, 1926-32). In the Red Army 1919-20. From 1922 artist-designer at the Decorative Institute, from 1932 part of the administration of the Leningrad Union of Artists.
