| Studied at the Moscow Art School (1900-09). Founding member of the Knave of Diamonds (1911), member of the World of Art and AKhRR. Participant in exhibitions from 1902: Salons of the Golden Fleece (1909-10), Salons of Vladimir Izdebsky (1909-10), Knave of Diamonds (1910-14), Union of Youth (1910-12), World of Art (1911-12, 1915-22), Salon des Independents (Paris, 1911-12), Arts Association (London, 1911-12), Moscow Painters (1925), AKhRR (1925-29), Society of Moscow Artists (1928) etc. His paintings were shown in Tokyo and Aomori in 1926-27. Lived in Moscow and from 1902 to 1917 taught in his studio. From 1918 to 1930 taught at the Svomas and VKhUTEMAS. | ||||||
