KLIUN [Kliunkov], Ivan Vasilyevich

Studied in the schools of the Society for the Encouragement of the Arts in Warsaw and Kiev (1890s), then in the studios of Fedor Rerberg, V. Fischer and Ilya Mashkov in Moscow (1900-05). Participant in exhibitions from 1910 : Union of Youth (1913-14), Tramway V (1915), 0.10 (1915-16), Shop (1916), Knave of Diamonds (from 1916), World of Art (1917), 5th and 10th State Exhibitions (1919), Four Arts (1925-26), Society of Easel Painters (1925). From 1917 to 1921 head of the Central Exhibition Bureau of the Fine Arts Department of Narkompros, 1920-21 member of INKhUK. Taught at the Svomas-VKhUTEMAS in Moscow (1918-21). Still-life with Flowers and a Jug 1929
